Greetings, Menlo Park council,
I have 2 key concerns at the moment.
I understand there are plans to renovate downtown Menlo Park.
I would humbly ask you to please not get rid of ACE HARDWARE as it is the most useful local vendor and I cannot imagine life without it.
Im also concerned about the planned high rises at the old Sunset Magazine location.
I recognize the need for more housing, but I also lived through the fallout of establishing Facebook at the end of Willow without first expanding the infrastructure. When my son was an infant before the Willow Rd exit was expanded, I was spending 1hr going the 2 miles from my office on Willow to his child care on Newbridge. Adding buildings / housing without considering how people will get to them and back is irresponsible. Especially as Willow Rd traffic to the 101 is already egregious on most days.
