After reading about what might happen to the Sunset Magazine land and surrounding area, I was wondering if the main building and gardens might be considered historic. I believe a famous architect designed the buildings and Sunset Magazine meant a lot to Menlo Park and the surrounding towns. The gardens were a treat. Personally I would take my elderly neighbors and family members there to walk around and talk about the flowers and buildings. What a loss to Menlo Park when the land and buildings were sold.
