Hello MP leaders,
I think I speak for most residents of Menlo Park and Palo Alto when I share my horror at the prospect of the Sunset builders remedy project being approved and built. While I recognize that there are state laws we must abide by, I urge you both to fight this with every weapon at your disposal, and also let the community know what we can do to support you in your opposition to this absurd, destructive project.
The environmental, traffic, and quality of life implications are huge. It will literally change the whole fabric of our community, and would most likely worsen the housing situation because wed have to find housing for all of the hotel and office employees that would be working at the site. Nothing about this plan makes sense, and nothing would benefit the community.
