Dear All,
We live on Central Ave in the Willows and are writing to ask that the City put up stop signs at Central and Elm and Central and
Walnut. We've witnessed many near accidents and are also very concerned about the speeding along Central Ave. Along the stretch
between Gilbert and O'Keefe, many cars drive way above the speed limit and it is very unsafe. It would be great if there were more
law enforcement to enforce speed limits, but I recognize that resources are limited, and stop signs would go a long way. We
actually live near the intersection of Central and Gilbert, and can say firsthand that putting the stop sign there has
significantly reduced both accidents and speeding.
