To the Members of the City Council:
I am writing to offer my strong support of the vote tonight in favor of the proposed New Guild in Menlo Park.
I was speaking with an investor of Menlo Park's newest hot spot, The Coffeebar, and he was thrilled to hear about this potential
new music venue in our area. I think the Coffeebar is a great example of building something that the city wants and needs that can
be wildly successful. I see the New Guild as the same kind of opportunity for this city. We desperately need something that will
attract the locals and tourists alike and this proposed venue is one-of-a-kind. My husband and I are frequent music-goers and we
see great potential in the New Guild's programming. Everyone that I have mentioned it to has expressed the same kind of
enthusiastic interest.
I enthusiastically supporting and strongly encourage a YES vote tonight for The New Guild!
