Dear city council,
Our library is fine as is.
our taxes are already so high, it is really difficult to issue more bonds to fund such non essential expansion.
It would be equivalent for me to take out a loan to fund a vacation house on sale. Yes someone is subsidizing it, but I don’t need
it and I can’t afford it with my balance sheet.
Instead I would propose to reduce local taxes and proportionately reduce everyone’s property taxes.
