Dear City Council,
I am reaching out to share my opposition of the proposed housing plan in downtown Menlo Park. Some of my concerns include:
1. Hurting local business
2. Developers taking advantage of the situation and build huge buildings in a highly used dense area
3. elimination of place for kids and families to hang out
4. There is already a huge development at the SRI lot and along with other new housing along el Camino
5. Traffic- there is already so much traffic during rush hour and I can’t even imagine how it’ll look like after the buildings are built right in the middle of Menlo Park downtown
6. Insufficient studies and community feedback
Thank you for your consideration. Please consider the voice of the community- people that actually live near downtown, visit downtown on a daily basis and drive around downtown. There must be other areas that make more sense to be considered for new development.
