Dear Sir / Madam,
I was very excited to hear of the plans for the renovation and use of the Guild Theatre, for the benefit of not only MP, but the
larger south peninsula area. It's a great building and one that should be both preserved and used to it's maximum potential.
So I was a little troubled by the news that this may not happen, because Council decisions / timing may not line up with the Arts
Guild's plans or contract to purchase the property.
I understand that there will be a meeting shortly and unfortunately I cannot attend, so I wanted to voice my wholehearted support
for the project and I strongly encourage the Council to accelerate / do what it can to ensure this project remains on schedule and
viable.
