Dear Mayor Ohtaki and Councilmembers,
I write in strong, unequivocal support of the plans to develop the New Guild!
My wife Suzy and I have lived in Menlo Park since 1999. We now live in Felton Gables, and together with our 3 teen-aged children,
we love the City and plan to be here forever.
I don't exaggerate in saying that the New Guild is the most significant, exciting development to come for a vote in Menlo Park
since we moved here.
The New Guild will, in a subtle but profound way, change the character of downtown Menlo -- the multi-use nature of the new space,
the effective use of its pre-existing footprint, the derivative economic benefits (esp. for restaurants), and the community
involvement and interaction are all huge selling points for us.
Please don't let this amazing opportunity pass -- please capitalize on the chance to make our great City even better.
