I am writing as a local resident in support of the New Guild project. Our town is desparately in need of a social magnet that the
New Guild would offer. We and our children spend time in Palo Alto, San Mateo, Burlingame and other towns on the peninsula rather
than Menlo Park because of the lack of energy and entertainment venues in our town. The Santa Cruz Ave corridor for the most part
feels like we are still stuck in the 60's with very few interesting dining and entertainment options relative to other towns
nearby. With The Guild we would uber or bike into town, attend many shows, eat dinner out and generally help energize sleepy (not
good sleepy) Menlo Park.Thanks,
