As a business owner who approximates lot three, I can tell you this is a dire mistake to construct housing in this area. I understand the city is under a mandate from the state of California with this ill guided attempt to control our communities, but the construction in the downtown area will destroy an already fragile business environment here. City leaders need to act as such, and listen to the constituents they represent.
