This letter’s intended to show our strong support for the New Guild Project on El Camino.
My wife Jenna and I live on Oak, have 3 kids in Oak Knoll and have been long term MP residents. I actually grew up in MP, going to
Los Lomitas & La Entrada, and my parents still live on Clayton Dr.
We absolutely love our town. The people, the schools and community truly make for the best place to live and raise a
family(obviously biased opinionJ).
However, one of the things Jenna and I feel is missing is local entertainment. We usually tend to go to PA, RWC or SF for
entertainment due to this reason.
The thought of having a new vibrant theatre is fantastic. Walking from a good meal downtown to a fun show would be HUGE! And
something we have never had. Local restaurants and stores would benefit, and I believe there would be true excitement around
future shows and the anticipation of who is next to play in our town. This new theatre would truly benefit all….I picture taking
my son and daughters to their first show, date nights, and fun nights with friends.
In my opinion this is an absolute must, and an opportunity that needs to be realized. And I know all of my MP friends and
neighbors agree.
