Dear Council,
Please excuse typos, as I have a hand disability, please use correct format..
I support building affordable housing. Presently we are losing teachers and staff to run schools, hospital staff; including Doctors, EMT’s, ER Techs, Phlebotomists, CNA’s, Surgical Techs, Radiology Techs, Janitors and the staff needed to run a hospital because they can’t afford housing in the area. Something is fundamentally wrong when we pay people more money to make video games than to save our lives or to teach our children. We need to support all work as skilled labor that can afford a roof over their head! These needed jobs and skills must be honored for what they give to our communities. We need all these people and their skills to have a healthy communities. Please support affordable housing.
