Term Limits Needed in MP -- Please Make them Two Terms

Hello Council,
Thank you to Rich Cline and Ray Mueller for proposing a Council discussion of term limits. I would like to see a two-term limit
with no opportunity to serve again. I don't want to see "professional politicians" in Menlo Park. Two terms are enough to
accomplish one's goals.
Term limits are also a political "best practice." They limit the influence of special interests and bring in fresh ideas and fresh
approaches. No wonder that most cities in San Mateo County, and according to the chart supplied with the staff report on the
topic, all but one city in Santa Clara County -- has term limits.

As one more reason for term limits, all MP advisory committees and commissions have term limits. Those serving are limited to two
consecutive terms and then the person must be off before applying again. It's beyond the agenda topic, but I would also like to
see stricter term limits for those serving in the Commission and Committee advisory roles. Once their two terms are up, I would
like commissioners to be restricted from serving again on the particular commission/committee where they served two terms.
