Im writing to oppose the development of buildings on the parking lots that serve the city. These parking lots are crucial to our downtown businesses. Please do not vote to designate these lots as Exempt Surplus Land.
Losing these lots will have a terrible economic effect on our city. It will drive shoppers and diners to other areas where parking is available. Im sure to have noticed that these lots are full every day. I urge you to vote no on these proposals.
