Dear City Council,
I live in Menlo Park out of choice. Local shopping and ease of parking is a major benefit of this area. Your intended action to label our downtown public parking lots as "Exempt Surplus Land" is of no benefit to Menlo Park residents or business owners. Perhaps it will benefit developers. They are not your constituency. Why would you be interested in harming the life of our city? I will attend the upcoming City Council meeting and hope to join a grassroots support of residents and business owners to object to your thoughtless, destructive action in this regard.
