FYI. Not sure how this project has been "fast tracked" internally when it was an "uphill battle" for the developer just months
ago. The neighborhood is strongly opposed to this development and has already been suffering from traffic congestion and cut
through traffic. This seems absurd to allow this to move forward... Thanks, Susu

Dear Planning Commission,
I'm surprised to hear that the development plan at 40 Middlefield Rd. is moving forward despite tons of backlash from the
neighborhood. It seems that we already have a traffic/congestion problem at Willow Rd. & Middlefield Rd. and that adding to that
chaotic area would make it much more dangerous for the many pedestrians and bikers (and vehicles). The existing parking lot is
already tight serving both Willow Market (including delivery trucks) and Applebee PreSchool (lets keep these little ones safe)!
These are 2 important local businesses for our neighborhood that we should respect. The proposed building at 40 Middlefield would
further strain this lot and cause additional congestion and may even cause "spillover" parking on nearby Baywood. Not to mention
the construction process alone - how long will that take and how will that affect traffic and pedestrian and bike safety? Are you
all familiar with this tight parking area? Please stop by on a Monday night when we have our highly valued "food trucks" there and
the community meets there for dinner with kids on scooters, etc. Or stop by any weekday morning during preschool "drop off" to see
the precious flurry of activity. This is not being thought through and neighbors have already been "speaking out" about existing
traffic problems just at this very location. Hope you are not considering further construction and development here.
