To the Menlo Park City Council,
In advance of your meeting next week, I’m writing to let you know that I hope you will vote in favor of building new libraries for
Menlo Park, including the new Main Library and a branch for Belle Haven. Both are critical for the citizens of Menlo Park.
I have had the opportunity to visit some other libraries recently and was impressed with how they are used in a variety of ways
and have become centers for the community. I hope Menlo Park can be on a similar path with a 21st century library that will serve
the community in the broadest way. I hope you’ll vote to take advantage of the generous donation offered by Mr Arrillaga and
approve the recommendations from the Library staff.
