City Council Members,
I could be in favor of adding low income housing on the parking lots north of Santa Cruz Avenue if the following criteria were met:
1. Replace all existing parking
2. Add parking for tenants of the new buildings
3. Set “low income” requirements that would include teachers, police, city employees and firefighters.
4. Provide a comprehensive EIR to be discussed in public.
Between the Stanford project, Springline and the SRI projects, we have seen a lot of change and will see more soon. Don’t just ram this project through.
