I have been following with great enthusiasm the conversations surrounding the possibility of a NEW GUILD theater which would bring such badly need vibrancy and culture to our community that is painfully dull in it’s offerings. Isn’t it time for Menlo Park to join the ranks of their neighbors and offer some excitement for the thousands of residents who reside here? We would prefer to spend our tax dollars in our own community but wind up driving to Redwood City, Palo Alto or anywhere else that offers even a little taste of arts, culture and entertainment.
I so hope that the City will stand firmly behind this proposition. I would hate to see it find a new home elsewhere!
I hope to make it to the upcoming council meeting to raise my hand in support, but in case I can’t make it, please know count my family in as a strong supporter.
