I have lived in Menlo Park/Palo Alto for the last 32 years. I am a graduate of Stanford University and have had the pleasure of
also working in Menlo Park/Palo Alto for the last 25 years. My husband and I have 2 daughters that have gone through the Las
Lomitas school system and are now at Menlo-Atherton High School. Needless to say, I feel very entrenched in the area.
I strongly support Drew Dunlevie and crew's efforts to save the Guild Theatre and turn it into a new venue. Our family, our
friends, and me personally very much want to see this happen. We are big music, movie, and art supporters and welcome the
opportunity to have another venue at which to appreciate these things.
There are other nearby cities, Redwood City and San Carlos in particular, that are doing an amazing job regentrifying and
enhancing themselves. It would be sad to not have Menlo Park stay on pace with this.
