To the Planning Commission:
My Wife and I are writing in support of the New Guild project that you will be discussing next week.
We are Redwood City parents of teenage children who go to school in Menlo Park. We strongly believe the New Guild project will
re-open a dimension of our lives locally that was in the past filled by traveling to San Francisco but now is dormant. We are very
interested in attending live cultural events in the evening and adding that to dining and other shopping.
We would love it if Downtown Menlo Park provided a center for that with the New Guild project, and would absolutely spend many
nights each month participating in such a vibrant place for local residents and businesses.
We're excited about it for ourselves and for the whole private and business community!
