Dear Council - it is surprising to learn that the Planning Commission has not been asked to provide input to you prior to your
Biennial Review of the ECR/Downtown Specific Plan that is scheduled this coming Tuesday. Since the Commissioners have been
involved with numerous project proposals under the Plan and have experience dealing with many of the issues in the staff report,
their observations about issues, options, and recommendations could be beneficial.
You should reschedule the Biennial Review until such time the Review would consider thoughtful input from the Commission..
