I am writing in support of Drew Dunlevie & The New Guild.
A few observations and comments:
1) The Coffee Bar - amazing how an entire section of downtown gets a boost and a positive vibe change when a new businesses comrs
onto the scene. And everyone wins......to the benefit of the community and the revenue of the city.
2) The Pace Gallery - hey now!! Look what happens when you bring the arts to the local scene - the community get stoked and
rallies to embrace it!
3) San Francisco is NOT the center of the world. What is it? Well, increasingly it's become a cesspool of human ▒▒▒▒▒, hypodermic
needles and a place where you can't even lock your car, as breakins have become so commonplace.... Given all that, who wants to
trekk up to San Francisco to that mess?? Why should we have to??
Menlo Park is seriously overdue and needs new blood that can transform our community and make it a destination, NOT a jumping off
point for folks who want to enjoy great cultural experiences!!!
The New Guild will inspire people to frequent & support existing (and hopefully upcoming) restaurants, and arts as they have with
the Pace Gallery.
Thank you for your continued focus & please please please continue to prioritize this project.
