Dear Council, EQC, and staff,
Willow Road at Coleman: The shuttle this morning passed me by just now - ugh! I was flagging him down, and I could see his shuttle was empty headed to Caltrain. He literally shook his head: nope! Way to buzz kill the awesome streak I was on.
Now I grabbed the Dumbarton express to hit up Palo Alto. My pass covers SamTrans, so I had to pay for my bus trip. Now I’ll take the ECR Sam Trans or walk to get back to Menlo.
I’ll give my daily updates to specific folks who can assist directly moving forward.
Thanks for your help in making transit a viable option for residents and workers.

Great news! I finally caught the Menlo Shuttle this morning! I missed my 296 bus at 717am and a few minutes later, like an oasis, I see the Menlo shuttle trucking along Willow Road. The driver stopped for me and then confirmed she was headed to Menlo Caltrain! I practically kissed her I was so delighted to get on board the shuttle!!! See photos documenting the event. Best way to start the day.
As I waited for Caltrain, I met with a 30 year old homeless gentleman. I connected him with San Mateo County human services because his identification documents and cell phone were stolen. He wants to work but has no way of proving he is a person authorized to work.
