Dear Menlo Park city councilmembers:
I’m writing to support building homes on Menlo Park’s downtown parking lots. Please proceed with the process (as outlined in your housing element) without further delay. I am one of many people who live in downtown Menlo Park car-free by choice. I love the lifestyle and Menlo Park, and I want many more people to be able to experience and enjoy it. Turning parking lots into housing will enable this. I frequent many of the downtown businesses on foot and I’m certain many of the owners do not recognize just how many car free customers they already have.
