Dear City Council
As a long time resident of Menlo Park, I value the character of our downtown and the ease of coming downtown. I grew up and saw Palo Alto become so busy and hard to park that my family and I rarely go there any longer and come to MP instead.
The idea of parking lots being “surplus” is frankly ridiculous. Please stop pandering and protect the downtown we have.
