Honorable Menlo Park City Council,
Im a local dance teacher and the only reason I can afford to live in Menlo Park is because of my spouse. Many of my colleagues have already left the area for lack of housing options and low density of clients. A large portion of main street retail is currently
vacant, and it seems like lack of customers is the main issue.
Turning what is an ugly car park into housing seems like an obvious improvement to downtown
