Dear Council,
As you are considering plans to build housing on city owned parking lots in the downtown area, I would like to encourage you to support this initiative and approve the plan with urgency.
Menlo Park desperately needs more housing, of all types, and all over the city. Building housing downtown would help support commerce in the downtown area, offer easy access to public transportation, help reduce the huge gap in housing supply in our community and help create a more vibrant and diverse community.
I strongly support this initiative and urge you to do the same.
