Good Morning,My Name is Michelle Myers and I have lived in Menlo Park for over a Period of 49 years on and off.I moved into Crane Place over 2 Years ago…Growing Up here there were many stores,Gift Shops,Ann’s Coffee Shop etc that Served The Community!I have noticed there are Many empty Stores now and not one except Walgreens that serves the community as well as Trader Joe’s..Parking Here is a joke as well as Issues,(Since I walk A lot) For cars speeding thru Stop Signs or Barely even stopping!Ive almost gotten hit while walking Downtown in a Walking lane to cross the Street..Also,The traffic that uses crane Street from either Valparaiso or Live oak as a Thoroughfare is Terrible as well as speeding in a Residential Area!Im very concerned about More Cars coming thru in Residential areas and the traffic it will bring to Valparaiso and live Oak!Im 70 and Drive almost everyday!I understand the need for affordable Housing yet it makes No sense to go in such a Quiet ,Dense residential area that will have a MAJOR Impact on Businesses as Well!Also the Flavor of Menlo will change!Lets Lower rent in businesses Downtown so we can make it more affordable for New businesses and People that have businesses to Stay!Not More Housing!Plse Think of the Businesses and People that live here as Well as Traffic Safety!Thanks ,Michelle Myers 1331 Crane Street Apt 208,Menlo Park94025
