Dear Council,
I have talked with many of you and trust all of you to do the right thing for Menlo Park tonight. You know, better than 99% of the citizenry, why we have to execute on the Housing Element, both from a state statute and from a housing affordability perspective. You also know far better than virtually all people why the downtown plan was selected vs. the other alternatives. Thoughtful people will understand tough decisions. Craven NIMBYs who want to freeload using the downtown lots will spend a lot of money to try to force something else, will never get it. Vote bravely for the right thing. We’ve got your backs.
