Honorable Menlo Park City Council,
I support building new affordable homes downtown and I urge you to do the same on January 14th.
As an educator and mother that has struggled with the increase of the cost of living in the Bay Area over the last decade, I see the need for affordable housing now! When teachers can live in the city and neighborhood they teach, they are able to design
more relevant content for students as well as have more capacity for themselves and the community. We need our cities to be more accessible for folks and that starts with affordable housing.
Please vote "yes" to new affordable homes downtown on January 14th.
