I am writing to express my support for the plan to build housing in the parking lots in downtown Menlo Park. I believe that since we are required by state laws to add housing putting it close to stores, the train station and the buses that run up and down El Camino makes sense.
We need places for middle class and lower income families to live. I don’t think any of us benefit by having Menlo Park be a town that is completely populated by the wealthy.
