I am a long time employee -25 plus years working a Carpaccio’s restaurant 1120 Crane
Street Menlo Park.
For the past 25 plus years- Menlo Park has been promising businesses it would increase parking. Menlo Park has only decreased the number of downtown parking spaces.
Over the years Carpaccio’s has many customers with reservations call to cancel due to difficulty parking in Downtown Menlo Park. Many of our customers are disabled and need easy access.
Our customers come from all over the Bay Area and need parking.
By eliminating the parking lot directly in front of Carpaccio’s ( 1120 Crane St ) it would affect business negatively. Carpaccio’s is one of Menlo Park’s longest running restaurants going on forty years.
This development would force the restaurant to close.
This development would force many downtown businesses to close.
