As nice as the proposed "world class, community centric, multifaceted entertainment facility" sounds - the Guild theatre does not seem to be the best venue. Before saying yes to any more large developments I implore the City and the City Council to think beyond the project (or money the City might receive from the project) to ask the question - can the El Camino corridor really handle one more large development? I would suggest taking a good idea and putting it somewhere it might be more accessible with an easy solution to parking. Leave the Guild Theatre intact (with a few interior improvements) and let Menlo Park see where we are once the other developments are installed.
