To the City Council,
I'm a ~20 year resident of Menlo Park and saw the article in the Almanac about your consideration of the Peninsula Arts Guild use
of The Guild. I'd like to voice my support and hope you approve this entertainment venue. From what I understand, they plan to
bring in interesting music and other cultural acts to perform which would provide unique entertainment for our community. While
other towns and cities have their evening entertainment centerpiece, Menlo Park could surely benefit. It would drive people to our
downtown during the evening hours which are typically less trafficked. In turn, that would drive interest from other restaurants,
stores and other activities to make Menlo Park a solid evening destination. All of this brings revenue to our town in a friendly,
compelling way. Look forward to your expedited review of this opportunity.
