As a Menlo Park resident I want to express my desire to preserve the Guild. Just returning from N.J. and N.Y. I am filled with the passion to preserve our heritage here in MP. I love how the preservation culture of the population, cities and town councils in the East comes before the tear down and replace attitude of CA cities. The War Memorial Opera House is an example or even Stanford theater showcasing films of the 40’s and 50’s and one dollar popcorn.
I have enjoyed many years seeing movies in my home town at a reasonable price. Let’s think about restoring and preserving the quaintness we’ve all loved in our home town.
