Dear Mayor Ohtaki and members of the City Council,
As we begin 2018 and contemplate priorities, I write to express thanks for the momentum we generated together last year. In
addition to the funding commitment MidPen received for the 1300 Block for approx. 140 affordable homes, just last December we held
a community outreach meeting to listen to neighborhood ideas and priorities for the other sites we own in Belle Haven:
·1283 Willow; and
·335 Pierce Rd.
At this point we respectfully request a study session to brief you on the themes we heard from the community. Many of these ideas
represent policy questions and we are at a point where we need guidance in order to take ideas to the next step.
Lastly, regarding the staff report, Attachment F - Pending Land Use Entitlements, two potential sites are listed, but the third
(335 Pierce Rd.) is absent.
