As a 4th generation resident of Menlo Park I vehemently oppose this proposal. Our town is already struggling with parking and our small business are failing more than they are succeeding. Lack of parking and adding residencies downtown will greatly worsen this and our town deserves better.
We elected our local representatives to represent the people of this town and to put our towns best interest first and this proposal is overwhelmingly opposed by our residents and should be stopped immediately. The effect that this would have, should it go through, are going to result in an exodus of families and residents who came here and settled here based on how it is, not based on a housing regulation.
