Please keep traffic congestion mgmt as a priority for the City. Do not just widen streets which will encourage people to stay in their cars. Menlo Park is flat and has great weather! It’s perfect for biking and walking. Do something to encourage people to ride bikes to school and work , close off streets to cars so kids are safe walking and biking to and from school. Getting parents to stop driving their kids to and from school would help reduce traffic! Give $$ towards electric bikes so people can bike to work easier.
And please please remove the right hand turn only lane going north on el Camino at Ravenswood!!!! That alone would be amazing. We need 3 lanes of traffic going each direction on el Camino all the way through Menlo Park. And a bike lane away from el Camino that runs from Stanford Park hotel ideally to Redwood City , but to Encinal Ave at a minimum. Make it a requirement from new developments to put $$ towards this!!
