It’s been over one year since I asked about the unused and un-sightly news paper boxes, especially near Peet’s coffee shop and Trader Joe’s. (There are several others). I was informed that the supposed contact had expired and decisions were going to be made to clean them up etc. ???
The city instead of bringing the crosswalk on university and middle up to its original standard for Menlo Park (City Pride) decided to patch the winter damage with asphalt (that has not held up). Is it a matter of money? allocation? What?
Some communities on the peninsula, repair, clean sidewalks, and keep their city’s clean. Why can’t Menlo Park?
