Dear City Council members,
I realize traffic mitigation is on everyone's minds - and as the council and committees tackle this issue, I wanted to make sure
we preserve/enhance safety for our bikers and pedestriansin the process. Menlo Park is a great neighborhood to walk and bike in.
Furthermore - many of our (young) children walk/bike to/from school on a regular basis. My wife and I cherish our walks in the
community - and encourage our young sons to bike to Laurel and Hillview on a daily basis for school. More walking/biking takes
cars off the road and helps decrease congestion so this should be a win-win.
