I live on the 1400 block of Woodland Ave. in Menlo Park. Some afternoons it can take as long as 40 minutes to travel the 3 short blocks to University Ave. This is unacceptable. There is only on stop light on my street, and it is located at the complex of buildings which include the Four Seasons Hotel. That light has problematic timing which allows terrible back ups to be created along my street in the afternoons. The silly “No Thru Traffic Signs” are not doing the job of keeping commuters on residential streets. The subject of traffic congestion needs to be a priority for Menlo Park.
