Dear City Council Members
This is John Yandle. I have live in the neighborhood for 32 years, first at 2141 Sharon Road, and now one street over at 2134 Clayton Drive.
My kids all went to LaEntrada, so I’m familiar with the perils of walking on Sharon Road. Good for you for addressing this.
It’s my opinion that the engineer recommended solution in creating an actual asphalt “path” is the best solution. That would also allow the bikers to not have to navigate all the curb cuts for the driveways of the many homes along Sharon. It would also keep them off the actual street when no pedestrian is present which is also safer.
