March 26th City Council Meeting - Agenda Item H1

Dear City Council Members-

Because I will be unable to attend tomorrow’s City Council Meeting, I wanted to register my formal support for the passage of
Agenda Item H1. I would like to specifically register my support for Resolution No. 6489 which supports the abandonment of the
public right-of-way and public utility easements adjacent to 1345 Willow Road, and authorizes the city manager to execute purchase
and sales agreements, escrow instructions, deeds, and related documents, for the sale of portions of the frontage road to MidPen
Housing and the Dora L C Caballero Trust.

I am extremely supportive of the renovation of this current project and the addition of 58 very needed affordable units here in
Menlo Park. MidPen is an excellent, responsible developer and the project will be an asset to our community. I am also supportive
of the commitment the City gave to the project for up to 6.7MM in BMR funds. I look forward to moving this project along so that
we can get see these renovated and additional units available to our community as soon as possible.

Thanks so much for your consideration.
