As a near-downtown resident, I think that we should add as much housing as possible in the downtown area. Given the housing
shortage and affordability crisis, we need more places for people to live, including smaller homes without big lawns, and there
are others like me who value the ability to live walking distance from stores, transit, etc. Also I'd love to see public lands
(parking lots) used as sites for affordable housing+parking, as is being done now in San Mateo and Burlingame.
If not on city properties, where? And if not now, when.
