Dear City Council,
I'm writing to you as a former La Entrada student who lives just off of Sharon Road on Sharon Court, nearly directly across the
road from the school. Every morning, the road's edges are nearly as full of students as the road is full of cars. These students—
and frankly, any pedestrian, bicyclist, or dog walker who tries to go down Sharon Road— is forced to travel incredibly close to
the cars who drive beside them, without the protection of sidewalks or barriers of any kind.
Adding sidewalks along Sharon Road would make students' commute to school significantly safer, as well as enable pedestrians to
travel more easily along the heavily-trafficked road, especially during school drop-off and pick-up times when the roadway is
backed up with potentially careless drivers.
Please help prevent possible collisions between students or pedestrians and the cars who use the road and improve the safety of
student commuters by adding sidewalks.
Thank you,Georgia WlukaSharon Court
