Dear Council Members,
I am opposed to rent control in any form. However, between the two options going before the council tonight I am in favor of the
ordinance more closely related to the Redwood City's rent control ordinance. I strongly believe the rent control plan should
affect buildings with five units or more. I believe the cost of managing the ordinances should come from city funds not opposing
fees on a few.I know this is a very contested issue, but the homelessness issue or the cost of living in the Bay Area issue should
be borne by all of the citizens of Menlo Park, not one group of citizens. Please consider a more even hand in making your decision
tonight.
