We moved to Menlo Park from Oakland. Our neighborhood had a walk score of 98%. We knew we wouldn’t find a score this high but to have no sidewalks is unbelievable. No safe sidewalks along school walking routes is a tragedy waiting to happen. My elderly parents live with us and my father is wheelchair dependent. His independence and safe mobility is severely impacted by lack of safe sidewalks. He cannot safely make the less than 1 mile mostly flat trek to the grocery store.
Please prioritize and address need for sidewalk for our school aged kids and our disabled and aging population.
