Re the Sidewalks on Sharon rd.

Dear Council Members,

I am writing to propose a compromise on the sidewalks on Sharon Road. A neighborhood meeting with shared information would be very
helpful.

Installing sidewalks on some blocks of Sharon Road without a broader approach to traffic problems as one of our neighbors said is
too narrow, and is ignorant of the issues faced by pedestrians. Some blocks Like the 2d block of Sharon rd,

really need car space. Lots of turning around happens here related to the car line around pick up time at La Entrada School.

Could you have a really really narrow sidewalk so that the kids are safe but parking and car activity is possible?

Can we please figure out a way to have some parking and sidewalks where the street is big. There are places where this is
possible. The postperson needs to place mail Parents park to walk to pick up.

We need both side walk and parking.

It is true that safety for children going to school and back is fundamental.Much of the traffic is La Entrada parents. There are
four streets approaching La Entrada: La Mesa; Sharon Road; Avy Avenue; and Harkins (a particularly narrow street used by school
buses). The school district provides energy efficient school buses which is wonderful. Could we please have a meeting?

Sincerely,

Pamela Davis Kivelson
